Delphine Minoui, a reporter for Le Figaro, is an award-winning journalist specialized in the Middle East, which she has been covering for more than 20 years. She is a recipient of the Albert-Londres Prize, known as the French Pulitzer for her articles in Iran and Iraq. After being based in Iran, Lebanon and Egypt, she now lives in Istanbul. She is also the author of several books in French, which have been translated in English. Her last book, The book collectors of Daraya (Le Seuil/2017, Picador/2021) is about a band of young Syrian rebels who save thousands of books and build an underground library in the midst of war.
