Édouard Perrin is a French reporter and investigative journalist. In a 2012 investigation led with the BBC, he discovered details of secret agreements between the Luxembourg tax authorities and multinational corporations that allowed companies to drastically reduce their tax bills. Perrin was awarded the Louise Weiss prize for European Journalism and the 2014 Ilaria Alpi “Best Television investigation” for his role in the investigation. He was awarded the “Journalist of the Year” award at the “2016 Assises du Journalisme” and was on the 2016 Politico Europe list. In 2014, Perrin worked with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalism on Luxembourg Leaks, the investigation that revealed a widespread aggressive tax avoidance by some of the world’s biggest brands.
